This is a good interesting interview for me.Our grop interviewed a retired teacher and talked about Pop Culture and High Culture.She said Pop Culture is changing soon,yesterday and tomorrow have been different. so she did not like PopCulture.However she would like to know what is popular at present because she is a grandmother, so she wisheed to know more about Pop Culture, so that she can understand her grandson what are interested in.Anyway,learning Pop Culture is necessary

Technology

Technology is very important in my life. I appreciate scientist invented so many useful technology. They can not only make us convenient but also . narrow the distance between people .I use mobile telephone and computer everyday . I think mobile telephone and computer both are absolutely necessary. As when we contact some people , we have to use mobile telephone , especial for urgent issue. It likes my close friend . The other one is computer, it likes human’s brain. We can use it for selecting many information and help us to in charge of daily things. Computer is a good assistant for people. If I don’t have mobile telephone ,I think I will be crazy and can't live. As it means I can not contact my friends and my family. It will go back to old era when it don’t have telephone. We have to write a letter to contact another people. If remove computer from my life, my lift will stop at that moment. I can’t work, I can’t study because I don’t have computer to do homework. It’s terrible ! Overall, technology is a benefit in my life. Especial for work , communicate, study, and social information .

A good movie I watched

When I was watching "Ma Ma Mia",it seemed I like in a paradise--like island scenery.Sweet songs like the waves of the voice were beating my heart.It is so different from other movies that I watched before.It is first time for me to watch phyllida Loyd's movie."Ma Ma Mia"is a love and comedy moview.The interpretation of this movie is very special.Directo Phyllida Loyd moved drama to put plays on the screen.He created a historial precedent.The artress Meryl Stree is not only singing but also dancing in the film.She has very good performance in the movie.All of her facial expressions are real.This movie is telling a love story about three men and Sophia's mother in an island,and finally there is a happy ending after 21 years.I think I should say it is a musicall movie.It combines the singing of a big show with the film.The songs included"Money,Money","Ma Ma Mia",expecial for "Dancing Queen" is the most perfect melody,it is one of the tracks.When you listen to it ,all the sadness will be gone.The combinationg of wonderful singing and a lovely beach.It can make you like you are in wonderland. "Ma Ma Mia"is like a happy pill, it can bring happy to you if you are sad. Also, it has a good story too."Ma Ma Mia" is really funny and bring lots of happiness to you.

Movie

"Titanic" is telling April 15, 1912, No. 1316 carrying 891 passengers and crew of the luxury ship "Titanic" collided with the iceberg and sank.It is considered one of the world top ten disaster in the 20TH century.It is telling in 1985, the "Titanic" at the sunken remains of the North Atlantic seabed two miles and half have been discovered.American explore found a drawing with a young girl who called Rose .She is the only survivor at that disaster.then she describes the story about how Titanic sank and her romantic love story with Jack on Titanic .It is a very worthy film to watch.It got 1.8 billion U.S. dollars box office and 11 Academy Awards as record!Actor Leonardo DiCaprio and actress Kate Winslet in the film has excellent performance.The theme song:My Heart Will Go On got Oscar the best song of the flim.When you listen to the song you feel like being in the sky .This film used three-dimensional animation production to show stunning visual effects technology.It is a disaster and love film.It's so amazing!

Music

My favorite song is "Love Story".I chose this song because this song is speaking of a pair of lovers have to put love deeply inside heart ,as this love is not possible to have the result which is a similar to Romeo and Juliet .because it tells a romantic love story.I like Taylor Swift who has angelic face that attracted me. Taylor Swift is a country singer.when she was twelve years old. She began to practice guitar.All the songs are her own creation.In addition,my favorite type of music is pop music. When I listen to pop music, it can make me excited and my thoughts run along with the music.

Reading

I choose the reading that is "Barrier Between Adults's and Children's Entertainment Is Breaking Down". This reading let me consider the crossover between adult's and children's entertainment is not only beneficial but also it is problematic. That is because the adults and children have sepatate worlds.Adult's world are more realistic, but children's world are more fantasy.However, when they entertain together,it will have an interactive role.Even though someone want to create art that is suitable for adults and children, it is hard to do it.

Pop Culture

I think I am immune to American popular culture that’s because I am not born in America. I

come into contact with the first culture is my native culture so that it is hard to be influenced by

American pop culture. After I came to USA,I start to recognizing that the international popular

in clothing and beauty skin care products. I also joined in party to celebrate Thanksgiving day. I have noticed tattoo is very popular fashion and people can drink wine over 21 years old in American . but they have been rejected by me. The reason is simple that I think tattoo is strange fashion and the wine is bad for healthy even I have over 21 years old.

After I taking this class,I awared Pop culture will be change anytime. For example: "The old song"--- A same music won't be always in people's mind. Different kinds of music will be became hot based on Pop culture in different era. Pop culture are closely linked to people's lives . It reflects people's needs.Pop culture I think that is the people's spiritual sustenance.
